The London BioScience Innovation Centre was London’s first bio-incubator, opened in 2000, and it remains one of the capital’s main homes for early life-science companies. Sitting in the Knowledge Quarter about ten minutes from King’s Cross St Pancras, it offers around 52,000 square feet of turnkey CL2 lab and office space, from shared bench space for idea-stage teams through to fully fitted labs of up to 2,000 square feet for scaling businesses. Leases are deliberately flexible, with as little as 30 days’ notice, so you are not locked in while your science and funding evolve. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Royal Veterinary College, and members join a community of more than 60 life-science companies, from startups to multinationals. Aimed at biomedical and life-science founders who need proper lab space in central London without a long institutional lease.
